We started our day at the early hours of morning, myself waking up at the crack of dawn at the anticipation of a big day (and im sure Stacey was in the same boat!) followed by a few last minute trips seeking final touches for our brand new display we have been simultaneously working on. (including a mad run to ikea where i managed to get lost and develop the 'Ikea Sweats', a condition i believe that comes from the panic of getting ridiculously lost in ikea's maze of arrowed pathways not much different to an Escher painting or maybe that scene at the end of Labyrinth minus a lycra clad bowie and a baby in a stripy onesy)
Anyway by lunch we were back in the burbs, packing the car (thankgod for all my youths worth of tetris playing!) and off to the Royal Exhibition Centre, excited about finally setting up our stall after only being able to imagine what i was going to look like.
By 4:30pm we were done, smiling all the way to the cafe for a much needed lunch break and a quiet breather before the doors finally opened at 6pm..
And then 6pm came, it was a rush of smiles and excitement, happy faces and glowing compliments.
And then it was 10pm... and day one as we knew it had ended, declared an official success and then toasted with some late night cheeseburgers and smiles all round.
